Gina des Cognets

Gina des Cognets is the founder and principal of Lead with Gina, where she helps high-growth companies navigate the “awkward teenage years” of organizational maturity—developing leadership talent and organizational systems that transform growing pains into strategic advantage.

She specializes in helping leadership teams communicate effectively and build authentic talent development strategies that drive retention and succession planning. As a fractional head of talent and executive coach to C-suite and VP-level leaders, Gina resolves cross-functional friction and helps leaders realize their full potential in challenging roles.

Previously, Gina led organizational effectiveness initiatives at Strava and partnered with thought leaders like Frances Frei and Amy Edmondson at Boston Beer Company to design innovative leadership development programs. She served as Associate Dean at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, where she built high-performing cross-functional teams and championed inclusive leadership.

Gina holds an EdD from Vanderbilt (Peabody), an MBA from Tuck (Dartmouth), and coaching certifications from Tara Mohr’s The Coaching Way. She is co-founder of The T’Collective, a network of fractional leaders changing the executive model, and serves on her local school board. In her free time, Gina loves running and skiing on Vermont’s trails and exploring with her husband and two teenage daughters.
